Dr. Katherine Hart
Dr. Katherine Hart Westphal is a certified orthodontic specialist. As a native of middle Tennessee, she attended Goodpasture Christian School in Madison, Tennessee. After graduation, Dr. Hart enrolled in Western Kentucky University, where she achieved her Bachelors of Science degree in 2005. She then attended dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, graduating with high honors in 2009. After earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Hart applied and was accepted to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s orthodontic residency program. In 2012, she completed a three-year residency earning the Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters in Dental Science degree. She has been dedicated to the private practice of orthodontics ever since.
Dr. Katherine Hart Westphal is a member in excellent standing of many local, regional, and national dental and orthodontic societies. She is currently serving as the vice president of the Tennessee Orthodontic Association and is committed to serving the profession of orthodontics throughout her career. She voluntarily serves as a board member at both the Tennessee College for Applied Technology and the Interfaith Dental Clinic. Dr. Hart attends continuing education courses each year, specifically seeking out and enrolling in the courses she believes will most enhance the patient experience. For Dr. Hart, orthodontics is not only her profession, it is her passion.
Dr. Hart currently practices in both the communities of Murfreesboro and Gallatin in the middle Tennessee area. Treating both children and adults, she strives to help all of her patients smile with confidence. When not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Alan, and their cat, Daisy. Her hobbies include running, reading a good book, traveling, baking, and gardening.
