Meet Our Team

Scheduling Coordinator

Varonica joined the Smiles from the Hart Team in 2013, and is usually the first smile you "see" when you call our office to schedule your initial exam with Dr. Hart. She will keep you smiling after that initial visit with her humorous accounts of life "on the farm" with her husband and family. She and Brent married in 1994, and have two beautiful children, Hope and Brody. Varonica has been in the orthodontic field since 1999, after graduating from Oakland High School and obtaining her Registered Dental Assistant license at Nashville Technology Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Varonica and her family currently reside in Milton, Tennessee. Her interests include spending time with her family, music and going to the lake. Varonica and her family attend Woodbury Road Baptist Church.

Terri_resizedTreatment PARTNER

Terri is the newest member of our Smiles from the Hart  team! She joined us in April 2014. Terri has 11 years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from Cannon County High School and obtained her Registered Dental Assisting license from the Tennessee Technology Center.

Terri currently resides in Cannon County where she is a member of Center Hill Baptist Church. Terri has a beautiful daughter named Tatum, with whom she loves to spend her time. They have two horses, a gelding named Possum and a mare named Marley. They spend time on the weekends on trail rides, camping and enjoying the river. Terri has been a wonderful addition to our Smiles from the Hart Team. We enjoy her daily laughter and bright smile.

Treatment Partner

Allie has been a wonderful addition to our practice. Although Allie joined our team in 2010, she has been with us a long time. Allie started as a patient of Dr. Sain's when she was eight. After her treatment with a palatal widening device, jaw corrector and braces, she knew God was calling her into this mission field. Allie feels blessed to know that she is helping change lives by creating great smiles.

Allie and her husband, Derek, have been married since the summer of 2013. They attend Belle Aire Baptist Church where they are involved in the children's, youth and young adult ministries. They enjoy going to the gym; taking their dog, Kendall, to the Bark Park; spending time with their families and friends; and reading.

Kristen joined the Smiles from the Hart Team in January 2016.  Born and raised in Rockvale, TN, she comes to us with seven years experience as an orthodontic assistant.  Always ready to extend a hand and light up the room with her smile, she will continue to develop relationships with her patients and their families with ease and confidence.

Although home is here in Murfreesboro, Kristen and her husband, Josh, can be found with their girls, Cailin and Kinlee, outside camping or at the lake whenever possible.

Records Coordinator

Holly started working with Dr. Sain in 1988. She took a leave of absence for two years after the birth of her son, Joey. She is back working in our office part-time. Holly was born and raised in Murfreesboro and graduated from Oakland High School.

She attended classes at Nashville Tech to acquire her dental assistant's license. Holly is married to Neil Hughes, also from Murfreesboro. Holly enjoys spending time with her family, baking, sewing, reading and watching Joey play baseball. The Hughes family attends church in Murfreesboro at Stones River Church of Christ.

Community Care Coordinator

Shelli, also known to the students of our county as the Tooth Fairy's helper, joined our team in January 2007. She has been a part of the orthodontic community for 25 years. Shelli brings a passion and love for creating smiles in children and adults wherever she goes! She is committed to education and communication and strives to serve our dentists, schools and businesses with excellence.

Shelli has called Murfreesboro home since 1987. Her husband, Jeff, and her children, Mitch and Miah, are her life's focus, but she is blessed with many friends and family. She attends Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville. Shelli will be following our patients, age 10 and under, between Phase 1 and Phase 2 treatment through our Care Club where Dr. Hart follows our patients through growth and development check-ups every six months. Shelli can be seen all over Murfreesboro attending and participating in community events.
